 THE STORY OF SAIGON

Discover the story of Saigon, from a city of conflict to a modern metropolis on this fascinating half-day tour. You’ll  visit key locations such as the Central Post Office Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum, to learn about the city’s transition from war- torn Saigon to urban Ho Chi Minh City. Then end your day with a sunset speedboat ride along the Saigon River.

SAIGON RIVER DINNER CRUISE

Spend an evening drinking cocktails and eating canapés on a traditional Vietnamese dragon boat in Ho Chi Minh City. Glide along the Saigon River past the city’s twinkling skyline. Feast on a buffet dinner of European and Vietnamese specialities, and dance to a live band under the stars.

DINNER BY THE SAIGON RIVER

Escape the hustle and bustle of Saigon as you travel by speedboat along the river for an evening of fine food and tranquility. Choose between The Deck Restaurant, renowned for its superb Asian fushion menu, or Thao Dien, serving delicious Vietnamese favourites. Both restaurant are only 7km from the city centre, yet feel worlds away from the busy streets of Saigon. At around 9pm board the speedboat for your return journey to the city.

This evening get set for a culinary adventure in down town Saigon, away from the tourist areas and into the heart of the city, where the locals go to eat.

A O SHOW

Held at the magnificent Saigon Opera House, the “A O” show is a rich mix of old and new. Combining elements of Vietnamese music, dance and “Cirque du Soleil”, you are sure to have a night to remember!

WATER PUPPET SHOW

Water puppetry iscf  a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century. Originating in the villages of the Red River Delta the shows are performed in as waist-deep pool by puppeteers who are hidden behind a screen. Accompanied by a live orchestra, this is a show that cannot be missed!

 CYCLING IN HOIAN                                                                                        

This morning cycle 15 minutes out of Hoi An where you will board a small boat for a short cruise along the tranquil waterways of Quang Nam Province. Jump back onto the saddle and peddle your way through the green paddy fields and villages, stopping at the traditional handicraft villages along the way. Visit the local boat making village of Kim Bong and hear the story of traditional Vietnamese seamanship, Afterwards transfer back to Hoi An.

The 4th Century collection of Hindu temples was once the stronghold of the ancient Champa Empire. Set against the back drop of rolling hills and thick jungle, a trip to My Son is the perfect half day escape from the back streets of Hoi An. Wander the ruins of this UNESCO protected site and hear the story of the Champa’s rise and fail, before taking the one hour drive back to Hoi An.
